Isiolo North MP Joseph Samal was rushed to hospital after collapsing in Parliament on Tuesday.
The MP had been at the lounge with his colleagues, waiting for the afternoon session to begin.
He was taken to the hospital by St John Ambulance.
Majority Leader Aden Duale moved a procedural motion to push back the special sitting to allow MPs time to read the report of the Justice and Legal Affairs Committee that vetted the nominees.
