An outpouring of condolences have been sent as the Jubilee Christian Church JCC announced the death of its founder Bishop Allan Kyuna last evening.
President William Ruto has sent a message of condolence to family of Jubilee Christian Church following the passion of their Bishop and General Overseer Allan Kiuna. In his message, President Ruto said he joins the Christian community to mourn the bishop whom he described as a dedicated Christian leader and who inspired many to follow the teachings of the Lord.
The president prayed for courage for the family and for Rev. Kathy Kiuna in this time of gried and mourning. While breaking the news of his death, the JCC church said it will hold a series of memorial services to honour the late Bishop.
The Church said that more information on the funeral arrangements would be provided later.
The church described Bishop Kiuna as an extraordinary man who impacted the lives of many people and had a passion for ministering the word of God across the world.
Bishop Kyuna who has been battling multiple myeloma Cancer since 2018, died at a hospital in Nairobi where he had been admitted According to a family spokesman , the 57 year old Bishop had been rushed there for attention after his condition deteriorated on Tuesday.
Breaking the news, the church said Bishop Kyuna who is renowned for his influential role as the co-founder and senior pastor, and is also the church’s general overseer , touched many lives with his wisdom, kindness, and unwavering faith.
The church announced special services in his honour, at the Parklands campus where Bishop Kiuna was domiciled.
