Sarova Mara Game Camp has registered completion of its first phase of newly refurbished deluxe and family tents to meet the growing demand of guests frequenting the Mara.
The project is part of Sarova Hotels & Resorts ongoing refurbishments for its various properties across the country.
The 21 deluxe tents are now complete with the remaining 31 to be completed in phases by June 2021 in readiness for the Wildebeest Migration season.
Jimi Kariuki, the MD of Sarova Hotels, said “The Mara is well known for its big Five and most notably the great migration. Over the years though, it seems that the migration has always taken the centre stage thus camouflaging the life fact that the big five do not migrate and are fulltime residents of the Mara.”
“We are committed to hosting more guests and to sharing with them the magic and majesty of the Masai Mara as an all year round destination that does not disappoint. With this in mind, Sarova Hotels Limited is committed to offering experiential stays to all our guests. It is our keen desire to imbibe the feeling of open space as envisaged in the rolling grasslands of this world renowned Masai Mara ecosystem. We wanted to celebrate space and do so with our guests in mind.” He added
Sarova Mara is well positioned as a tranquil natural haven that immediately soaks away ones stresses and strains.
“We are glad to see that the government has also taken great measure to ensure that Mara is easily accessible and the tarmacking of the 87.9 Kilometres Narok Sekenani C2 road will certainly get the traffic rolling. We are expecting a steady growth of the local tourism once the road is completed.” Jimi Kariuki highlighted.
